Teak Spa Stool - Natural Teak Oil Finish

The teak wood used in making this stool is regulated by the Royal Forestry Department of Thailand. Natural Wood Decor's teak products are made from farmed teak wood and, if maintained properly, will last for years. All of our bath decor products are hand-carved, assembled and finished by local Chiang Mai, Thailand artisans to support their local farms and communities.

NOTE: No two natural wood products are the same. Our wood products may have different variations in tone, small cracks that are sanded and finished, knots or other slight imperfections. This is a result of them being hand-picked and hand-carved pieces so every single one is unique. For more information on the quality of our wood products, take a look at our quality of wood furniture page.

Dimensions and Weight: 18" Wide x 12" Deep x 16" Tall. Weight is 11lbs.

Product Care: Teak wood is naturally water resilient and needs little to no maintenance. However, to alter the appearance of your teak wood, you can allow the teak oil to evaporate over time, turning the wood different shades of gray.

Sturdy and Beautiful October 31, 2013

This item is handmade and the wood is very attractive and it is well-constructed. When it arrived, it was packed safely. Unpacking revealed no scratches or other problems, except that it rocked slightly when I put it on the floor--any floor.
My solution was to put two small furniture nubs on the legs diagonally to eliminate the rocking. I am guessing that because this is a handmade item featuring authentic teak, it either started off less than perfectly square, or on the long sea voyage to the US, in storage, it had some pressure put on it, pushing it out of square. It really wasn't bad enough to send back, and was easily "fixed" as described.
I had a friend visiting, who, when she saw it, decided she wanted to take it home with her. Nope!
