Each panel is carved out of joined panels of wood. To make hanging easier, there are two embedded flush mount Keyhole hangers for a protruding screw from your wall. Hand rubbed in Livos Oak Oil polished to a water resistant matte finish, the light and dark portions of wood turn to darker shades of brown over time and the alkaline in the oils creates a honey orange color.
This line of wood wall decor is handmade from Acacia wood which comes from very plentiful tree species in South East Asia. The use of this wood is highly sustainable because it comes from some of the fastest growing, most abundant trees in the world. Each piece is finished with all natural, non-toxic oils, making them safe for any area of the home and non-damaging to the environment. All of these products were hand-carved and finished by local Chiang Mai, Thailand artisans with the simplest of tools. No chemicals are used in the process of creating this beautiful portrayal of a leaping fish.
NOTE: No two natural wood products are the same! Our wood products may have different variations in tone, small cracks that are sanded and finished, knots or other slight imperfections. This is a result of them being hand-picked and hand-carved pieces so every single one is unique.

Product Care: Acacia is a durable wood, so it can survive outdoors if properly finished and in a covered area. We recommend tung or teak oil, as they're eco-friendly and naturally water resistant. While direct sunlight can cause more cracking on the ends of Acacia wood, you can rub a natural wood oil to seal it and preserve its natural beauty.
